Semaine du français et de la Francophonie

Come to live exceptional evenings from 15 to 22 March 2016 in Gaborone.

There'll be something for everyone, so come in large number to participate in each of the four events and festivities!

The access to each of these events is free!

Programme

Raffle’s tickets will be given to each participant and more of them could be won during the following events. So the more people will come and take part in these events, the more chances they will have to win a prize.

• Tuesday 15/03/2016 from 18:30 to 20:30 at Maru A Pula School (AV Center)

A movie screening of the French Comedy “Look at me”, with English subtitles.

• Wednesday 16/03/2016 from 17:00 to 19:00 at UB Auditorium (close to the library)

During this funny and instructive evening, the participants will have the opportunity to express themselves and to learn a lot of interesting things about French language and Francophony.

• Thursday 17/03/2016 from 17:00 to 19:00 at Broadhurst Primary School

To participate to this evening, it is highly recommended, but it is not compulsory, that people cook, bring and share desserts from their region or country, or from their own taste or ability. This friendly evening will constitute a good occasion to mingle with people on something which is commonly shared: the love for desserts!

• Friday 18/03/2016 de 17:00 to 19:00 at the Alliance Française de Gaborone

A special karaoke evening on « French songs» is organized at Alliance Française de Gaborone.

• Tuesday 22/03/2016 from 17:00h to 19:00 at the Alliance Française de Gaborone

Award ceremony for the competition “Dessine-moi le français”, organized from February 18th to March, 18th among secondary schools in Botswana. At the end of this ceremony, a draw of the raffle organized during the “Semaine du français et de la Francophonie” events will be done and the corresponding prizes will be given to the winners.
