Raffle’s rules

“Semaine du français et de la francophonie”

A week dedicated to “French language and Francophony” in Gaborone

ARTICLE 1

The Embassy of France to Botswana, in partnership with the MoESD, UB, the AFG and FTAB, will organize a raffle from Tuesday, 15 March to Friday 18 March, 2016, on the occasion of the “Semaine du français et de la francophonie” in Gaborone.

ARTICLE 2

Participation to this raffle is totally free and opened to every individual, with the exception of the partners involved in its preparation. Those under the age of 16 must be accompanied by their parents or guardians. Furthermore, due to the specificities of this raffle, only those who are physically present during the “Semaine du français et de la francophonie” events can participate.

For each event a raffle ticket stub will be handed to welcome each individual. Other participation tickets could be won during some of these events.

ARTICLE 3

The draw of the three winners will take place on Tuesday, March 22nd, 2016 5:00 p.m. at the Alliance Française de Gaborone in presence of the public. The draw will be made, in this order, by a representative of the Embassy of France to Botswana, the company Orange Botswana and Lorraine's restaurant Ntlo-Maison.

ARTICLE 4

List of the raffle’s award prizes to be won:

• 1st prize: a laptop, offered by the French Embassy;
• 2nd prize: a smartphone with prepaid units, offered by Orange Botswana;
• 3rd prize: a dinner for two people, offered by the restaurant Ntlo-Maison.

ARTICLE 5

The prizes mentioned in article 4 will be awarded during a public ceremony on Tuesday, 22 March at 5:00 p.m. at the Alliance Française de Gaborone.

Those under the age of 16 must be accompanied by their parents to attend the awarding ceremony.

Prizes will be handed over to the winners immediately provided they show the ticket stub as proof of their participation. In the event of no show of a winner a new draw of the corresponding prize will be made on the spot.

ARTICLE 6

The Raffle’s rules will be published on the web site http://jaimelefrancais.over-blog.com on Monday March 14th, 2016, the day before the official opening of the “Semaine du français et de la francophonie” in Gaborone, and will be removed from this site on Monday, March 21st, 2016.

ARTICLE 7

The organizers and official partners of the “Semaine du français et de la francophonie” in Gaborone reserve the right to modify or to cancel purely and simply this raffle due to particular circumstances without incurring any liability or responsibility whatsoever.

ARTICLE 8

The organizers reserve the right to refuse entry to any of the programmed events if the public already present exceed the capacities of the place. It is therefore highly recommended to arrive on time or to be among the first to arrive there.

ARTICLE 9

Attendance to any of the events organized during the “Semaine du français et de la francophonie” in Gaborone implies the full and whole acceptance of the present rules.

The winnings prizes may give rise to no dispute of any kind, neither to the award of their equivalent value in money or in any other form, nor to their replacement or exchange.

No claim of any nature will be accepted.
